LIT is a 22 year old Tb that was rescued from a death in the family situation where no one was left to take care of her. She was thin as the above picture depicts and foundered to the point that it was suspect if she could get on a trailer. Her new owner got her on a healthy feeding program and then called me for help with her hooves. After I trimmed her 3 times six weeks apart she was sound and is now being ridden regularly. It's a real blessing to help out a sweet horse like this.

Poetic Justice (PJ) is a 14 yo Dutch Warmblood that came to me as a pasture pet since a vet had diagnosed him with terrible arthritis and navicular disease. I pulled his shoes in Sept. 2005 and within four months he was comfortably sound and active. The photo is PJ showing at a hunter show in the Fall of 2006. He is now owned by Liz Dietrick who shows him at local hunter shows successfully... barefoot, of course.
